
Engr. Iduseri Applaud Appointment Of Omobude As Chairman Christian Pilgrims welfare Board

Chairman Oredo Local Government council,Engr.Hon.Gabriel Iduseri has described the appointment of Rev Frank Omobude as chairman, Edo State Christian pilgrims welfare Board as a wise decision taken by Governor Monday Okpebholo in view of his pedigree and antecedents.
The council boss expressed satisfaction over the success recorded by the board in previous Pilgrimage which has restored public confidence on the board’s ability to perform yearly Pilgrimage without hitches.
Hon Iduseri reiterated his Administration’s unwavering commitment to partner with the board to ensure that council officials from Oredo benefit immensely from the pilgrimage as the end result will trigger a position turn around for the Local Government council.
The Oredo council boss commended Governor Monday Okpebholo for putting the transformation of Edo in all ramifications first above personal and primordial sentiments which has trickled down to Local Government Areas as evidenced by the various projects being executed by council Areas across the state.
Hon Iduseri called on Edo people to sustain the developmental drive of Okpebholo led Administration through prayers and cooperation with Government policies and programmes.
Earlier, the chairman, Edo State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Rev Frank Omobude has commended the chairman,Oredo Local Government council Hon.Iduseri for deploying resources accruing to the council for the execution of people oriented projects which has added aesthetic value to the beautification of the council Area.
Omobude said Oredo Local Government Area,being the seat of power with Benin city as the capital of Edo State,sustaining peace, tranquillity and its transformation is not negotiable which can only be made possible when those at the helm of affairs seek the face of God.
He stated that the Honourable Iduseri is implementing the core values of the board by encouraging Christian to embark on pilgrimage to seek the face of God for spiritual rejuvenation.
Pastor Omobude in continuation of the board sensitisation visit to councils,was at the Oredo Local Government council where he interfaced with the council boss,Hon.Eng.Gabriel Iduseri and council Officials.
The chairman, Edo State Christian pilgrims welfare Board told the council officials that the benefits of embarking on Pilgrimage is numerous,apart from the spiritual rebirth,it also gives room to deepened relationship with fellow pilgrims and explore the cultural values of the country for proper orientation.
The chairman Edo State Christian pilgrims welfare Board was accompanied on the visit by the board secretary, Deacon Freeman Adefemi, Director of media and Public Relations, Jacob Afeinkhena and other staff of the board.
