
Obazuwa Community Appoints
Idahosa Nosakhare As The New Okaighele

The Odionwere and the elders of the Obazuwa Community in the Ovia North-East local government area of Edo State,off upper Ekenwan road have appointed Mr. Idahosa Nosakhare as the new Okaighele of the community.
Mr. Idahosa Nosakhare took over from the former Okaighele, Odaro Peace Ibizugbe who was removed by the community for , “abominable acts, by creating community boundaries without the knowledge and authorization of the knowledge of the Odionwere and the elders of community and the consent of the Benin Royal Palace. He also encroached on the land allocated to the Omo N’Oba in the community, which is a sacrilege.”
In a letter signed by the Odionwere of the community, Pa Roland Aimuamrwosa Oyenmwense, said “the appointment of Idahosa Nosakhare was made after extensive and wide -reaching consultations with the elders and the good people of the Obazuwa community whose approval was unanimous “.
” Mr Idahosa Nosakhare has been chosen based on his consistent and proven track records unblemished integrity, exceptional humility and loyalty to the community as well as keen dedication to traditions and customs of the great Benin Kingdom.
“The elders and I pray that our ancestors guide me. Idahosa Nosakhare with wisdom and strength in this new appointment.
Concluding that, “the appointment takes immediate effect and all relevant authorities, security agencies, and the general public to take note and Accord Mr. Idahosa Nosakhare the necessay co-operation for the discharge of his duties.”
