I was at the Inaugural Lecture at Federal University Lokoja on Wednesday 14th January 2026 and it was a rare intersection of deep theory and street-level political reality.
Professor Ogbo’s discourse on “Corruption Versus Corruption” provided a searing critique of the institutional “Wuru-Wuru” that often masks our anti-corruption efforts.
By deconstructing the systemic paradoxes of the Nigerian state, he reminded us that political science is not just an ivory tower exercise—it is a tool for national introspection.
A huge congratulations to the Professor for a brilliant, courageous, and highly attended presentation. This is what a university is for: challenging the narrative and provoking the mind.
