CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO ALHAJI ABUBAKAR SANUSI (GAMJI) ON HIS NOMINATION FOR AMBASSADORIAL APPOINTMENT
I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Alhaji Abubakar Sanusi (GAMJI) on his recent nomination by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for an ambassadorial appointment; an honour that reflects his years of service, patriotism, philanthropy and deep commitment to the Nigerian project.
As someone I hold in the highest esteem, not only as a mentor, but as a respected elder whose path has directly shaped mine, this news brings immense personal joy and pride. Our families have shared a legacy of loyalty, leadership, and public service across generations. Your father mentored mine; my father mentored you; and now I am blessed to walk in your guidance and mentorship. This continuity of values, trust, and shared vision is one I cherish deeply.
Your nomination is a tribute not only to your personal integrity and diplomatic competence, but also to the great state of Kogi and the values we represent. We thank Mr. President for recognizing your enduring contributions and for giving Kogi State this important representation on the global stage, and trust that the Senate would confirm your nomination expeditiously.
