Kabba/Bunu LGA Chairman Convenes Security Meeting, Assures Residents Of Adequate Security.
Heads of security agencies in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State converged in Kabba on Thursday for a high-level security meeting aimed at addressing pressing security concerns and consolidating district development efforts.
The Chairman has assured residents that it will leave no stone unturned in ensuring their safety, promising that his administration would continue to give attention to the security of the residents of the local government area.
Zacchaeus, made the pledge during a press briefing after the local’s Joint Security Council meeting, presided over by the Chairman, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael, on Thursday. It confirmed that all efforts are being made to catch the bandits and deal with them according to the law
While briefing the media on the council’s resolution, Zacchaeus urged the public to continue with their lawful activities without fear, assuring them that the government would do all it could to secure the lives of residents.
He stated that with the strong collaboration among security agencies in the local government, the bandits and other criminal elements have nowhere to hide.
“The meeting was an initiative to holistically apprasie the security situation of the local government through feedbacks from all cadres of leadership,” Zacchaeus added.
Similarly, the chairman provided the local hunters with necessary security essential materials, like bulletproof jackets and other materials which is essential for their effective operations.
“We will continue to invest heavily to secure Kabba/Bunu LGA by supporting our security agencies to carry out their duties efficiently and effectively.
The government again warned the public to verify security-related information before sharing it.
