Engr. Bashiru Stands Out Tall, With Clean Hands, Has Come to Equity.

Engr. Bashiru Gegu, Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, stands out amongst men with values.

Ordinarily, one would have been tempted to ignore one Isaiah Davies Ijele, whose stock in trade is to run down responsible personality like Engr. Gegu.

But for the discerning public, it is sometimes important to set the record straight, else acclaimed local champions like Ijele would get away with his ignorance.

Recently he said that
in a sane society, respected personality like Engr Bashiru a shouldn’t be anywhere close to power but for Bello that happened to us. It’s a pity that Ijele is still suffering the loss of the 2023 Governorship where he worked for Muritala Ajaka, who failed woefully at the polls.

We are aware that the same Muri that picks his bills has discarded him having discovered that like a worthless tissue, Ijele has no political and other values.

For the record, Engr. Bashiru Gegu is that unusual politician, a pride of Kogi LGA, the APC, more importantly, his living for the people stands him out.

In the heart of Kogi State, Nigeria, Engr. Bashiru Abubakar Gegu, the Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, is making positive waves as an unusual politician. Unlike many of his peers, Engr. Gegu is driven by a passion to serve his community and make a tangible difference in the lives of his people.

An Engineer by training, as Commissioner, Engr. Gegu has been instrumental in promoting the development of Kogi State’s solid minerals and natural resources.

He has worked tirelessly to create opportunities for local communities to benefit from the State’s rich mineral deposits, ensuring that the wealth generated is used to improve infrastructure, education, and healthcare.

One of Engr. Gegu’s most notable initiatives is the empowerment of local communities through skills acquisition programs. He has established training centers where artisans and young people can learn skills such as mining, quarrying, and craftsmanship. This initiative has not only provided employment opportunities but also equipped locals with the skills needed to participate in the state’s economic development.

Engr. Gegu is also committed to environmental sustainability. He has implemented measures to ensure that mining activities in Kogi State are carried out in an environmentally friendly manner. This includes reforestation programs, proper waste management, and the use of eco-friendly technologies.

A Leader with a heart of Gold, what sets Engr. Gegu apart is his willingness to listen to the needs of his people and respond with empathy and understanding. He is often seen visiting communities affected by mining activities, listening to their concerns, and working with them to find solutions.

Under Engr. Gegu’s leadership in the Solid Minerals Ministry, Kogi State is poised for a brighter future. His commitment to sustainable development, community empowerment, and environmental protection has earned him the respect and admiration of his people. As an unusual politician, Engr. Gegu is proving that with dedication and hard work, it’s possible to make a real difference in the lives of others.

Engr Bashiru’s story highlights impactful work and commitment to his community, showcasing him as a role model for effective and compassionate leadership.

It is therefore a note of warning that while we do not take it lightly to see nonentities denigrate a man who has washed his hands clean and come to equity. We urge Ijele and his co-travellers to ensure decorum as our patience in replying to his nonsense would no longer be tolerated, but with strong worded replies that will expose his tomfoolery.
