Chief Asaje Condemns Bandits vicious killing spree in Yagba West, Yagba land.
The National Coordinator of the “Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group”,nhas condemned in strong terms the recent killings of Security agents on roadblocks at Ofili along Egbe -Okoloke road in Yagba West LG of Kogi State by unidentified gunmen.
According to him, the resurgence of the activities of the ominous unknown gunmen in Yagba land in the recent months is becoming worrisome.
It is no longer in doubt that the unknown gunmen are on the prowl again in the area which prided itself as the most relatively peaceful area in Okun land, of Kogi State.
The resurgence of killings in Yagba West, Yagba East LG of Kogi State have raised significant concerns about the security situation in Yagba Federal Constituency, he said.
We always condemn such things but after condemning such activities by these bandits and criminals, what are the roles of the governments who are supposed to protect our lives and property, he added.
The numerical strength of the Nigeria Army Base in Egbe is not enough to contain the situation, he exclaimed.
Asaje strongly condemns the killings of security operatives at police checkpoint roadblocks yesterday 10/9/2025..
He urged the government to quickly take action against the menace of insurgents attacks, address the situation, to protect civilians, security men in our localities..
“We must keep calling on our leaders to rise up to the situation”.
“We are worried by the ugly development, persistence of the activities of unknown gunmen in Yagba land”.
