The Accountant General of Kogi State, is indeed a symbol of philanthropy, inspiring countless individuals with her selfless acts of kindness and generosity.
Here are some notable examples of her philanthropic efforts which makes her a woman after the heart of Kogites.
– Empowering Women and Youths: She empowered over 5,000 women, men, and others across Kogi Central senatorial district with sewing and grinding machines, startup capital for trade, and other forms of support through her initiative, FAWWASS.
– She is supporting People with Disabilities, donated ₦500,000 to the Disability Community in Kogi Central, demonstrating her commitment to inclusivity and support for vulnerable communities.
-That her birthday Celebration was turned a bundle of empowerment Programs during her 50th birthday makes her to remain a model. She single-handedly empowered over 5,000 women from the three senatorial districts of Kogi State with cash, sewing machines, oven toasters, and clothes.
– Her Community Development initiative as the founder of FAWWASS, a social-political organization with over 15,000 members across the 21 local government areas of Kogi State, has provided relief to the downtrodden, widows, orphans, and many others.
– Her numerous awards and accolades in her philanthropic activities have earned her several awards and accolades, including the title of Yeye Atuluse of Aiyetoro Kiri Bunu Kingdom.

Dr. Onumoko is a seasoned technocrat with a strong background in financial management and accounting. She holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. in Accounting and Finance from reputable institutions.
Her Professional Experience before her appointment as Accountant General, saw her served as the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Director of Finance and Accounts, and Treasurer in Okene Local Government Area.
– With Qualifications, Dr. Onumoko is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in Nigeria (FCIT) and Fellow of Forensic Accountants (FFA). She has also received several awards for her outstanding contributions to public service.
The Kogi State Accountant General is a trailblazer becoming the first female Accountant General in Kogi State. Her appointment is a milestone and a testament to her exceptional qualifications and experience in public sector accounting.
