The North Central Coordinator for President Ahmed Bola Tinubu 2027 presidential bid , Alhaji Adama Hamza has been installed as the Gamzi of Ekuzi community in Kogi Local Government council of the state
In a statement made available to Journalists on Monday the chieftaincy title is in recognition of his long time philanthropic gestures for the development of the communities .
While accepting the title, the new Gamzi of Ekuzi urged the people of Agbudu not to view development only from the perspective of Government but a collective responsibility of the people in order to transform the society.
He noted that, he felt pained by the devastating effect of the recent flood that rendered many families homeless and has to give his widows mite of N10m and 100 bags of cement to help cushion the burden on women and the vulnerable in the village.
He charged well meaning individuals, corporate organizations and government at all levels to rise to the occasion by donating their resources to indemnify the sufferings of the people.
According to statement made available to newsmen on Sunday in Lokoja, during the fund raising event, Alhaji Adama Hamza, was conferred with a honorary chieftaincy tittle as GAMJI of Ekuzi, for his several interventions in the upliftment of the riverine communities in Kogi LGA.
Highlights of the event at the Ekuzi Progressive Association Unity House Project was the conferment of the Chieftaincy titles of Gamji Ekuzi on Alh Adamu Adama Hamza, Gamji for his selfless service to the community
