Permit me to use this medium to express my sincere condolences to you, the Ododo Family, the government and people of Kogi State over the passing of your dear father; Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo, on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the age of 83.
Your Excellency, it is painful that the cold hands of death snatched the Patriarch of the Ododo Family at a time when his wise counsel, prayers, support, and inspiration are needed by you in your determination towards ensuring the growth and development of Kogi state.
Though sad that Papa has gone to the great beyond, one is pleased that he lived a life of purpose, and service to God and humanity. From the various testimonials, he positively impacted on the lives of many people, and was a source of inspiration to numerous others within and without Kogi state.
Your Excellency, Lounge 1 identifies with you on this moment of grief, I admonish you, and the entire Ododo Family to, as mere mortals submit to the tenets of Allah (SWT); who gives and takes when He wills.
Finally, I pray that Almighty will forgive his shortcomings, repose his soul, and grant him eternal rest, Amin.
