Message of Condolence.
The Kogi State Council of Ulama’u of Nigeria solemnly commisserates with the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo over the demise of his beloved father ALHAJI MOMOH SANI ODODO which occurred today Monday 24th Safar 1447H/18th August, 2025.
It sends its condolences to the immediate family members of the deceased, members of Kogi State Executive Council, the Honourable Speaker and Honourable Members of Kogi State House of Assembly, Honourable Chief Judge of Kogi State, the Honourable Grand Kadi of Kogi State, the Honourable President Kogi State Customary Court of Appeal and the State Judiciary, Alhaji Muhammad Ahmad Tijani Anaje the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland and members of Kogi State Council of Traditional Rulers, the Chief Imam of Ebiraland Sheikh Muhammad Salihu Abere, Imams and Islamic Scholars, Government and the entire good people of Kogi State over this irreplaceable loss.
Council prays Almighty ALLAH to Shower His Mercy upon him, Forgive all his shortcomings, Grant him Jannat Firdaus and Grant the entire Muslim Ummah the fortitude to bear this painful but inevitable loss, ameen thumma ameen.
It firmly stands with all the bereaved members of his family particularly His Excellency Alhaji Ahmad Usman Ododo the Chief Mourner at this moment of their grief.
Council will continue to remember him along with all other deceased Muslims in its prayers.
It admonishes all the bereaved to take solace in the Divine Decision of Almighty ALLAH and continue to pray for the peaceful repose of his gentle soul in Jannat Firdaus.
