His Royal Majesty Dr. Saidu Akawu Salihu, The Ohimegye Igu Koton Karfe received the sad news of the passing of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s father with profound sorrow.
In a statement released through his Media office, His Majesty noted that On behalf of himself and Koton Karfe kingdom, he extends heartfelt condolences to His Excellency, the family and the entire government and people of Kogi State.
His Majesty prayed that Almighty Allah grant the deceased soul eternal rest, and prayed that may the memories of his life and legacy bring his excellency and the entire family comfort during this difficult time.
“As you navigate this period of bereavement, know that you have the support and prayers of our kingdom”. The Ohimegye noted
He prayed Allah grant Governor Ododo the strength and fortitude to carry on in the face of this irreparable loss.
