MR ABBAS IBRAHIM APPLAUDS GREAT HEIGHTS ACADEMY FOR ACADEMIC, MORAL EXCELLENCE

Parents and families of the 2025 graduating set of Great Height Academy, Kado District, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, have continued to praise the school for its academic excellence and moral standards. Among them, Mr. Abbas Ibrahim, Deputy General Manager at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, has joined in commending the institution.
Speaking to the media at the 2025 Speech/Prize Giving and Graduation Ceremony, held at the Dr. Mariam Babangida Center for Women Development, Central Business District, Abuja, Mr. Ibrahim lauded the school’s management for their unwavering commitment to the academic, moral, and character development of their pupils.
He noted that the school’s dedication to hard work and high moral standards was clearly reflected in the graduating students. “No other school in the Federal Capital Territory would have been preferable to Great Height Academy,” he said, adding that he has three children currently enrolled there.
Mr. Ibrahim expressed his delight at the school’s blend of academic and extracurricular activities, praising both the staff and directors for their transformational efforts. “One thing that impressed me most about the school is the dual curriculum — both secular and Islamic education,” he remarked. “With what I have seen today, all parents must be proud. The commitment the children have shown to what they have learned means the staff and directors are doing their best, breeding a generation of leaders.”
However, Mr. Ibrahim voiced displeasure over a dramatic presentation by the pupils titled Irony of a Nation, which depicted a government official receiving a bribe — a reflection of corruption in the country’s polity. He described the performance as “unpalatable,” arguing that such a portrayal could bring unwanted consciousness of the nation’s unfortunate realities to young minds. He suggested that a more positive and uplifting theme would have been more appropriate.
