… Says JNI has never had it so good like it is currently doing, Lauds Gov Bello’s achievements.
The Jama’atu Nasril Islam, Kogi State Branch has organized a special anniversary prayer session for Gov. Yahaya Bello as part of activities to mark his seventh year in office.
Speaking with Newsmen, Ambassador Usman Bello, said JNI has never had it so good like it is currently doing since the seven years administration of Gov Bello.
Amb. Usman Bello said what Gov. Bello has done to JNI is first of its kind, said JNI is full of prayers for the Governor, assured of a partnership that works for the development of the State.
The State Chairman of JNI said it looks forward to an eventful last year in office for Gov. Bello, prayed for Allah to make it eventful for the people.
Amb. Bello praised Gov. Bello for making the State the most peaceful in the country, said he is aware that many states in the country have come to understudy the Kogi formula for peaceful coexistence, described Gov. Bello as a pride to JNI.
He praised him for his unprecedented infrastructure development pointing out that the State have never had it this good in terms of religious harmony, with responsibilities saddled on JNI and CAN to resolve conflicts in the State.
Also speaking, the Secretary of JNI, Alh. Isah Adboye, said no administration has given JNI and CAN the opportunity Gov. Bello has presented to them, described the unity existing between the Moslems and Christians in the State as a deliberate policy made by the present administration of Gov. Bello that has ensured peaceful coexistence.
He described the present administration as one that would be remembered for the Unity it ensured for the two major religion to cohabitate peacefully, said the JNI would continue to pray for the administration to finish well in all sectors.
In his sermon at the special prayers for the anniversary, Sheikh Usman Tauheed, Chief Imam of JNI Mosque, said as Moslems it is expected of them to pray for the leadership of the State.
The Imam listed Gov. Bello’s ability to unite the Christian and Moslem religion by extending strategic support to them as unprecedented, urged faithful to always pray for him and for Allah to make the remaining one year left to be fruitful and rewarding for the people of Kogi State
While pointing out that unlike what is obtained in other parts of the states, said in Kogi the two religion are at peace with one another described it as the efforts of Gov. Bello.
The Imam said the Islamic culture demands that Moslems pray for there leaders for God to touch there heart to do well for the people and to pray for the positive things they have done.
Highlights of the Seventh Anniversary Prayers was prayers for Allah to guide and protect Gov. Yahaya Bello and for God to guide him to complete his tenure in good health and prosperity.
