
7th Combined Convocation: Gov. Ododo Praises PAAU VC for Transformational Leadership

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has commended Professor Marietu Ohunene Tenuche, Vice-Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), for her remarkable achievements at the institution’s 7th Combined Convocation Ceremony.

Ododo described Tenuche’s administration as visionary, purposeful, and committed to academic excellence, citing significant improvements in academic standards, infrastructure, staff welfare, and research.
The Governor highlighted notable projects commissioned during the event, including new academic buildings, lecture halls, administrative offices, and student hostels, which will enhance teaching, learning, and campus life.
He praised the Vice-Chancellor’s team for prudent resource management and purposeful leadership.
Ododo reaffirmed his administration’s support for tertiary education, emphasizing its role in sustainable development. Tenuche expressed gratitude for the Governor’s support, assuring continued commitment to producing skilled graduates.
