
79 Bags Distinction As Kogi State Polytechnic Sets to Hold 5th Combined Convocation Ceremony.

Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, is set to hold its 5th Combined Convocation Ceremony on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Convocation Arena.
The ceremony according to the Rector, Prof. Salisu Usman Ogbo, will honor graduates from the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 academic sessions.
The event promises to be a grand affair, as graduates will receive their National Diplomas (ND) and Higher National Diplomas (HND) certificates in various fields, including Engineering, Applied Sciences, and Management Studies.
A total of 2,965 students at both the National Diploma and Higher National Diploma levels in the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 academic sessions will be graduating.
The break down of the graduating students shows a total of 1,711 students with National Diploma (ND) in various programmes.
Similarly, a total of 1,254 students are to also graduate with Higher National Diploma (HND) in various programmes.
A total of 41 students are to graduate with Distinctions from various Schools and Departments at the National Diploma (ND) level.
Similarly, another 38 students are to graduate with Distinctions from various Schools and Departments at the Higher National Diploma (HND) level.
