22 Make List For The 2025 The Nigerian Post/Margret Ekpo 2025 Memorial Award.
The list of nominees for the Nigerian Post/Margret Ekpo 2025 Biographical Centre, Calabar, Memorial award has closed with 22 individuals and organizations nominated for award.
The grand finale for the Public Lecture and Awards is slated for 10:00am, 27th May, 2025, with the program expected to hold at the NUJ Press Centre Secretariate, Lokoja, Kogi State.
The Nigerian Post/Margret Ekpo 2025 Memorial Lecture and Awards is for suitably qualified individuals, Organizations who have distinguished themselves in providing succour for vulnerable, women and children in the society.
Recalled that Late Margaret Ekpo was a renowned advocate for the upliftment, fighting for rights of women and children in the society in her life time, a feat, The Nigerian Post/Margaret Ekpo Biographical Centre seeks to immortalize.
The forthcoming Nigerian Post/Margaret Ekpo Biographical Centre Mid Year Public Lecture is with the Theme: “Children: Our Future, Our Responsibility”, will be presented by Prof Salisu Usman Ogbo, Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja.
In a statement signed by Abu Michael, Editor in Chief, The Nigerian Post Newspaper/Kogi State Registrar, Margaret Ekpo Biographical Centre Calabar, Lokoja said the following nomination were received:
