2027: Tinubu, Ododo Have Repositioned Economy For Growth, Says SA South-South Mobilization, Rallies Kogi Women For APC

The Special Adviser on South-South Mobilization and President of South-South States Residents in Kogi State has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo have recorded significant achievements in economic repositioning and governance within three years.
He made the assertion on Sunday during a consultation meeting with women of Ofure Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society and youth leaders drawn from ten polling units in Lokongoma communities, Ward A, Lokoja Local Government Area, where he rallied support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Special Adviser said Governor Ododo has demonstrated capacity to address long-standing challenges confronting Kogi State, stressing that the administration’s policies are necessary to reverse decades of underdevelopment and reposition the state for sustainable growth.
According to him, the Governor has shown political courage in confronting structural challenges, with visible efforts in infrastructure, governance reforms and inclusive administration.
On the Federal level, he expressed confidence that the bold economic reforms undertaken by President Tinubu, though difficult, are essential for stabilizing the national economy and improving living conditions in the long term. He urged Nigerians to remain patient and supportive as the benefits gradually manifest.
Speaking on the 2027 general elections, the SA commended both President Tinubu and Governor Ododo for what he described as commendable performance, stressing the need for continuity to sustain development gains.
He argued that both administrations were delivering on their mandates and that it would be in the best interest of the people to maintain a winning team.
The Special Adviser described the inclusion of South-South residents in the administration of Governor Ododo as a watershed in the history of the state since its creation, noting that the gesture has strengthened national unity and sense of belonging.
He said South-South residents in Kogi have resolved to stand with Governor Ododo in his re-election bid.
He therefore urged women and youth leaders in Lokongoma communities to support APC candidates at all levels, including the Presidency, Governorship, Senate, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly.
According to him, political alignment between the Federal Government, the State Government and elected representatives would enhance opportunities for attracting infrastructure, employment and other developmental interventions to communities in Ward A and beyond.
He cautioned against dissipating political goodwill on opposition parties, arguing that South-South residents stand to benefit more from effective representation and cooperation with governments at both federal and state levels.
The SA further charged the women and youth leaders to remain united and actively engaged in the political process, describing grassroots participation as critical to achieving the development aspirations of Ward A ahead of the 2027 polls.
