2027: THE MYTH OF A COLLAPSED FALEKE STRUCTURE – FICTION, NOT FACT

When former Governor Yahaya Bello sought support of our leader Hon. James Abiodun Faleke for his second, term bid, he did not rely on rumours or backchannels. He went through the proper route.
The leader of AUDU/Faleke political structure in Kogi state, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, true to his transparent leadership style, convened leaders, elders, and members of the Audu/Faleke political family in Abuja. The matter was debated thoroughly, decisions were taken collectively, and a clear directive was issued.
In the spirit of party loyalty, we were mobilized, openly and structurally.
Committees were constituted. Grassroots coordination followed. The leader sponsored us, we moved as one body to Lokoja, where, at the Government House Glass House, we were formally received and charged to deliver. We did exactly that. The result? A resounding, landslide victory for the APC.
That is how this structure operates, consultation, clarity, and command. Not whispers. Not proxies. Not phantom groups.
Which is why the recent claim that Faleke’s structure has been “collapsed” into a 2027 alignment is not just false, it is laughably desperate.
Let’s be unequivocal.
There has never been any group known as “Faleke Youth Vanguard” within the Audu/Faleke political family in Kogi state. Not at any time. It is a fabrication,designed for headlines, not grounded in reality.
You cannot collapse what never existed.
Political structures are not kiosks assembled in the morning and dismantled at will. They are built over years, through trust, loyalty, and grassroots legitimacy. The Audu/Faleke political structure is not a rented crowd to be packaged for political convenience. It is disciplined, independent, and guided only by the clear directive of its leadership.
What is being paraded is nothing but desperation, anxiety dressed up as consensus.
A handful of individuals, assembled for optics, cannot speak for an entire structure. That is not alignment; that is choreography. Manufacture the narrative, amplify it loudly, and hope the public mistakes noise for truth, that is the tired script.
But Kogi people are wiser.
Since when did an unknown “youth vanguard” become the custodian of a statewide political mandate? Since when did press statements replace genuine consultation across wards, local governments, and established party organs?
The people know better. Real structures are not built on the whims and caprices of opportunistic groups.
More troubling is the attempt to appropriate the name and influence of Rt. Hon. Faleke to legitimize this fiction.
Leadership is not a borrowed garment. It is earned, tested, and proven. And Hon. Faleke is not a leader who operates under the table or speaks through shadows.
If there is truly any sweeping endorsement, let those pushing this narrative answer simple questions:
When exactly did Hon. Faleke issue such a directive?
Where was the meeting of leaders and elders across the state?
Which legitimate structure ratified this so-called decision?
Silence ordinarily will answer them. But trust, they will resort to abuses, insults and name calling
Now, to the truth many are trying to bury:
2027 is not just another election, it is a defining moment of fairness and equity. It is the turn of Kogi West.
No propaganda can erase that. No artificial alliance can rewrite that. Power rotation is not a favour, it is a stabilizing principle. Ignore it, and you invite division. Respect it, and you strengthen unity.
The facts remain stubborn.
There is no political earthquake in Kogi. No structure has collapsed. No wave of endorsement exists beyond media fabrication other than the one openly declared by our leader Hon. Faleke.
What we are seeing is the familiar playbook, inflate the insignificant, amplify the convenient, and sell it as inevitability.
But Nigerians, and indeed Kogites in particular have outgrown that deception.
As 2027 approaches, the people will not be stampeded by noise. They will demand fairness. They will insist on credibility. And they will judge based on truth, not theatrics.
No matter how loudly it is shouted, a lie does not become truth.
Once beaten, twice shy.
The Audu/Faleke political structure remains solid, cohesive, and resolute, bound not by rumours or proxies, but by the clear, direct, and unmistakable leadership of Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke.
