2027: MASSIVE TURNOUT AS WWT-KARIMI MOBILISATION HITS 86 WARDS IN KOGI WEST

Massive crowd on Sunday thronged various wards across Kogi West Senatorial District as the Win With Tinubu (WWT), Kogi State Chapter, commenced the second phase of its grassroots mobilisation programme.
The ward-level inauguration and mobilisation exercise, which held simultaneously across the 86 wards of the district, marks a major expansion of the movement’s grassroots engagement structure ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Our correspondent reports that party faithful, youth groups, women leaders and community stakeholders turned out in large numbers to identify with the programme, which is aimed at taking political engagement directly to the grassroots.
According to the leadership of the group, the programme is designed to establish a functional and sustainable mobilisation network at the ward and community levels, thereby strengthening organisational presence and deepening political participation across Kogi West.
The WWT-Karimi grassroots programme is anchored on two principal objectives: to galvanise grassroots support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and to advance the second-term aspiration of the Senator representing Kogi West, Senator Sunday Steve Karimi.
Speaking on the essence of the second phase, a top official of the organisation said the focus is on deliberate ward-based organisation built on consistent engagement, effective coordination, community-level mobilisation and a dependable communication network.
He explained that the November-December mobilisation calendar will feature sustained activities beyond Sunday’s inauguration, including ward inaugurations, stakeholder engagements, community outreaches, political sensitisation and organisational expansion across all 86 wards.
He added that the engagement is centred on promoting President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and consolidating effective senatorial representation under Senator Karimi.
Political observers note that the commencement of the second phase signals the transition of the WWT-Karimi framework into a more extensive, ward-driven operation, with emphasis on structured grassroots mobilisation, peaceful political engagement, issue-based communication and sustained community interaction.
The exercise continues across the district in the coming weeks.
