The chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ebonyi State Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha has charged residents of the State to endeavor to collect their permanent voter cards (PVCs) and participate massively in the 2027 general elections.

The APC chairman gave the charge while speaking with journalists after a meeting with stakeholders, candidates and local Government chairmen at the party’s headquarters in Abakaliki, the State capital.

According to the chairman “Every Ebonyians should go and pick his or her permanent voter cards (PVCs). I am appealing that they use the card and cast their votes in the election day because the PVC’s is their strength”

The APC boss noted that the meeting was to brief candidates on party guidelines, identify challenges and resolve internal disagreements that could undermine the party’s electoral prospects.

He added that regular consultations would help address candidates’ concerns and reconcile members dissatisfied with the outcome of the party’s primaries.

The Senator representing Ebonyi North Senatorial District and Deputy Chief Whip of the 10th Senate, Barr. Onyekachi Nwebonyi, expressed confidence in the APC’s victory, citing Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru’s achievements and the party’s popularity in the state.

The senator said the party would sustain consultations ahead of the elections.

In the same vein, the APC candidate for Afikpo/Edda Federal Constituency, Hon. Joseph Ekuma Nkama, also expressed optimism about the party’s performance, attributing his confidence to its delivery of democratic dividends.

Nkama maintained the party’s position to deliver its candidates from top to bottom raging from president, Senate, House of representatives and House of Assembly.
