2023 ZONING: END OF DISCUSSION – By Hon. Abdulmalik Ibrahim Arewa, Chairman, Kupa Fadama Farmers Unity Association

The GYB2PYB Ambassadors on the other hand must be celebrating their love of a dream come true when Gov. Yahaya Bello recently reiterated that APC has no zoning agenda in its revised dictionary of the 2021 APC Revalidation and Registrations ongoing exercise nationwide.

The speculations that APC will zone its presidential ticket to a particular region, specifically the South of Nigeria, has suffered a devastating end.

The Kupa Fadama Farmers Unity Association on our own part, Celebrate Gov. Bello’s courage of bringing a revolutionary positive change and paradigm shift of old wine in a new bottle.

The Gov. Yahaya Bello’s submission to God’s Will on 2023 Presidency, saying that “No zoning and that the year 2023 is in God’s Hands and when it is the time for him to be president it will be, lets have Nigeria first” he stressed as a result of the prevailing security challenges that have envelope the country and solution must be found on or before 2023 are clear indications of Bello’s confidence in God’s Hands in every aspect of human activity on earth.

The people of the North Central Zone where our amiable Gov. Yahaya Bello is an extraction, has been less privileged over the years and his emerging aspiration is in no doubt a paradigm shift that will give the people of the region a recognition away from neglect and marginalisation by the larger ethnic groups of the country that caused the causes of the country’s security predicaments.

We take it or leave it, this region called the North Central has been named differently by different section or groups such as the Middle Belt Region simply because the people felt they have been suffering domination and manipulations by the majority of the upper Niger. In a situation like having our own as in GYB2PYB, no stone will be left unturned in the region to support Gov. Yahaya Bello for the actualisation of GYB2PYB.
