2023: Yemisi’s Aspiration Represent a Core Value of Gov Yahaya Bello Says Oniya

An Okua monarch and Bashorun of Shasha land High Chief Kunle Oniya has described the aspiration of Oluyemisi Oshaloto as a reflection of the core values of the Executive Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Yahaya Bello which, according to him, is that women should achieve their full potentials.

While receiving a delegation led by Hon Steve Karimi – a leading aspirant of the Kogi West Senatorial seat – the industrialist promised his full support towards the success of their political aspirations.

Describing Hon Karimi as a man with long years of consistent service to Egbe community, Bashorun Oniya stated that he would not only support his senatorial bid, but that he would commit to the emergence of Ms Yemisi as Member of the Kogi State House of Assembly representing Yagba West Constituency.

High Chief Oniya advised the aspirants to remain committed to service. In his address, Hon Karimi extolled the virtues of chief Oniya, describing him as a development minded person whose love for the community could not be quantified. He said the High Chief had been an accomplished industrialist and an employer of labor spanning over 45 years.

In response, Oluyemisi Oshaloto appreciated the monarch for his support. She reiterated her resolve for quality representation and transformational service when elected. The female aspirant urged those present to the the presidential ambition of the Governor adding that the nation needed a vibrant leader who would turn the fortunes of the country around and drive out insecurity from the Nigeria.

The Executive Chairman of Yagba West LGA thanked the High Chief for his support and prayed that God should keep him.
