There is something in the mien of Hon. Idris Shaib, popularly called Idris Ozi, which magnetizes a first time visitor to him. He is intelligent and outspoken, a quality that every true representative of the people must possess.
His dove like nature, his warmth, may have confirmed that this is the real type of politician and a worthy representative the people need to begin to look forward to having as a legislator in the forthcoming dispensation.
Born 54 years ago, Hon. Idris Ozi Shaib is a man of valour who cherishes excellence and can hold his own among his political peers, little wonder, the conversation has begun in Okehi LGA and the Okehi Adavi Federal Constituency that in order to stem a repeat of the past and in view of the unfolding development in the area, men like him fit perfectly in the political equation.

Idris Ozi Shaib, holds a Fellowship Status of the two foremost Institutes(ICAN & CITN). He is a holder of B.Sc (Hons) and M.Sc degrees of the University of Ilorin, and now a PhD (in view) student of the Federal University, Lokoja.
The distinguished Chartered Accountant turned politician, who presently serves as the Chief of Staff to the Kogi State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Hon Abdullahi Bello, is helping to clear the stable, provide solid support and organizing his administrative matters, a feat that has made the State Chairman and Kogi State APC to be the envy of all in terms of success, results and effective organization. Besides he has served on several election Committees where he distinguished himself as a dedicated and committed member, having headed Committees such as Venue, Transport & Logistics, Protocol etc.
Hon. Idris Ozi Shaib who is a passionate Member of the State APC and also Kogi Central Stakeholders, contested as APC candidate for Okehi State Constituency in 2015 elections. He was a former aspirant for Adavi Okehi Federal Constituency, on the platform of the PDP. He also aspired to be the executive Chairman of Okehi LGA under PDP in 2012, and has in no small measure, contributed to the development of the constituency in all honesty, thus making the conversation around those who should be sent on errand centered on his personality, capacity, exposure, experience and courage. His ability to have made friends across board stands him out as the man best needed for an overwhelming victory in Okehii LGA and Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency.

Idris Ozi is simply illustrative of the fruition that the heights reached and kept by the peoples representatives were not attained by sudden flight but by dint of hardwork, believe in God and a solid support base of the people at the grassroots. He is unarguably the best thing that would happen to the people of Okehi LGA and Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency in 2023.
