The Northwest Coordinator of the people’s democratic party,( PDP) Student Association, Comrade Haliru Nagodi has hailed the independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC)for the Conduct of the presidential and National assembly elections in Kebbi State.
Comrade Haliru who described the presidential/ National assembly elections that were held on Saturday February 25,2023 as free,fair and credible, added that they have seen an improved INEC that has demonstrated Capacity and impartiality who are also Committed towards Ensuring that the vote of the electorates counts.
Comrade Haliru Nagodi who disclosed this to Newsmen at the independent National electoral Commission’s office, Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, during Collation of results, further stressed that as a student body they are Committed towards enthroning competent leaders that would give priority attention to education in the region and the country in general,in addition to improved welfare for students in the region.
According to the Bayero University student of the department of sociology,leaders seeking political offices from the region must convince the people, particularly the students of her ability to provide sound education policies if elected as Nigeria student constitutes over 40% percent of the nation’s voting strength.
Comrade Haliru Nagodi called on the the good people of Kebbi State to support Gen.Aminu Barde in the forthcoming Governorship election for a better Kebbi State, saying that the People’s Democratic party (PDP) Candidate has demonstrated Capacity, integrity and Competence in both public and Community services, stressing that Gen.Aminu Barde remain the Candidate to beat in the martch 11,Kebbi State Governorship election.
