2023 Presidency: Kogi Speaker Congratulates Governor Yahaya Bello for heeding the calls of the Legislators


 

Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Prince) Matthew Kolawole has on behalf of the State Assembly congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello on the successful declaration of his presidential ambition held yesterday at Eagles Square, Abuja.

The Speaker made this known via a press statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Femi Olugbemi and made available to newsmen in Abuja.

According to him, the mammoth crowd that gathered from the 36 States and FCT at Eagles Square to witness the epoch-making event shows the overwhelming acceptability of his candidature which will transform the entire country for the betterment of all.

He said his official declaration has further re-engineered the trust of the Legislators in his leadership for adhering to their calls to run for the office of the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He noted that the calibre of dignitaries that attended the event yesterday showed that Governor Yahaya Bello is ordained to change the fortune of the country in no distant time when he assumes office on May 29th 2023.

It will be recalled that the Kogi State House of Assembly had called on Governor Yahaya Bello in a resolutions on a motion moved in December 2020 urging him to run for the highest office in the country being the youngest Governor and also based on his antecedent in tackling the security menace in Kogi State and other laudable achievements he has recorded since he assumed office in 2016.
