Presidential Aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ahmed Bola Tinubu has declared that his Presidential
ambition is a serious issue which should not be taking as a joke come 2023.
The Asiwaju stated this when he paid a courtesy call on the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare II on Saturday in Benin City, Edo State Capital.
The APC Presidential aspirant was on ground in Benin City , Edo State capital in continuation of his nation wide tour to meet party’s delegates.
According to the two term governor of Lagos State said, “Your Royal Majesty, I want to be President; And I am not joking about it. I know what your prayers and blessings mean”.
The national leader of APC, also asked prayer of the monarch to enable him emerge as Candidate of his party during the primary election and emerge as the President of Nigeria in 2023.
The leading aspirant who said he is not a stranger to the palace, according to him, he is a son and inlaw to the Oba.
The Asiwaju who is said to have transversed about 34 states of the federation narrated how he transformed Lagos state when as governor from a slum to a mega city.
Amongst the party bigwigs who accompanied the man often referred as the leader of the party, were Comrade Adams Oshiomole, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, Pius Odubu, former Edo state deputy governor, Hon Samson Osagie, Hon Momoh Abubakar, Hon Gani Audu, Afeghua Malik Gentle man Amegor .
