A Frontline All Progressive Congress Aspirant, Kogi East Senatorial District, Prince Yahaya Audu has promised an effective representation if elected to the Senate in 2023, said it is time for the people of the area to regain their lost glory.
Prince Yahaya made the promise when he addressed some critical APC stakeholders said it is disheartening that the much talked about dividends of democracy has eluded the people of the district for long, said it is time for a new dawn representation.
The APC aspirant promised to tackle the issues of unemployment and poverty that has become a global phenomenon, said like his campaign slogan connotes, ” It is Time” for growth and development of Kogi East Senatorial district.
The aspirant promised to do things differently if elected said as a lawmaker he has promised to donate his salary to the development of the youths and for other development if elected, says his representation would be about job creation and empowerment of women and the youths.
He promised to continue to legislate on issues that would create employment and empowerment, attract infrastructure development, assured that education and agriculture would receive his greatest priority.
The Frontline aspirant says it is time for the sixth largest tribe in Nigeria to take its rightful place, promised to use his several years of exposure to change the narratives, assuring that he has the requesite experience and exposure to to place Kogi East on a sound footings.
He urged the APC stakeholders to think of what they can do for Kogi East by supporting his aspiration, promised an effective legislation that will change representation of what has been witnessed in Kogi East.
