2023: I’m in the race to win -Amanabo


 

The New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP House of Reps candidate for Ofu/Idah/Igalamela Odolu and Ibaji, Hon Egbunu Yusuf Amanabo has dispelled speculations that he has stepped down for All Progressives Congress APC candidate.

 

Amanabo, who is contesting on the platform of New Nigeria People’s Party ( NNPP) made the disclosure on Friday while responding to journalists.

He described the misinformation as a handwork of some mischievous politicians who are afraid of his rising profile since he declared his intention to challenge the old order, therefore called on his teaming supporters to ignore what he described as false, unfounded rumour by the opposition.

Amanabo, who was reacting to rumour of his stepping down for the APC candidate in Ibaji said he is the best candidate who is determined to provide dividends of democracy to the constitutes, says he is in the race to win.

“i am in the race to win, also I am the candidate to beat for our federal constituency contest.

“Those who are spreading such rumour are not ready for the election, they are simply afraid of the rising popularity of our party and myself in the federal constituency” he charged.

Amanabo said that he would contest and he is confident of Victory, said he joined the race with the convictions that he would be victorious at the end.

He said there is no reason for him to step down Knowing fully well that he will win the election.

He appealed to all members of the party to disregard the misinformation and continue to mobilize for the party candidates across board from Presidential, Senate, Reps and Assembly for the Victory of the party.
