2023: Hon. Aboh, Colleagues From Fed. Const. Interact With Traditional Rulers, Seek Their Support


 

As the November 11 2023 election approaches in Kogi State, the Executive Chairman of Omala Local Government Council, Hon. Chief (Alh) Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh along with his colleagues from Ankpa and Olamaboro Local Government (Hon. Ibrahim Abagu and Hon. Adejoh Friday) interface with traditional rulers and other respected Elders from the area to solicit their support for the APC candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and also to seek their collaboration for a peaceful electoral process.

 

Other personalities/government functionaries present include the House of Assembly Member for Omala, Hon. Umar Yahaya (Connect); his Ankpa and Olamaboro counterparts; Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Hon. Gabriel Olofu; former Deputy Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Alfa Rabiu Momoh, among others.

According to Hon. Olofu, leader of the delegation, “as tradition demands, the purpose of our visit is to formally get the royal blessing and support of our traditional rulers on behalf of the candidate of our party, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo/Comrade Joel Oyibo of All Progressives Congress (APC) before campaign will commence in full glare. We are for peace and are out to win by the grace of GOD”, he said.

The revered Chief, Onu-Ife, HRH, Boniface U. Musa (Ojogba) commended the group for toeing the path of peace and consultations as he wish them success in the coming election.
