A very strong call has been made to the people of Kogi State to in 2023 Support the Governorship aspiration of Alhaji Shaibu Abubakar Audu, a banker and a son of the late former Governor of Kogi state Prince Abubakar Audu.
The call to support the aspiration was made by a staunch supporter of the All Progressives Congress in the State, Alh. Mohammed Hassan, aka Rod, after a meeting with some women groups held at the NUJ Press Centre Lokoja, pointing out that the State would once again witness massive infrastructure development under Alhaji Shaibu Abubakar Audu like it happened under the Leadership of his father.
The APC Chieftain from Lokoja LGA of the State expressed optimism that with the experience garnered under his father and Supporting Gov Yahaya Bello, assurred that same developmental strides achievements would be reenacted if Alhaji Shaibu Abubakar Audu is elected as Governor.
He described the Governorship Aspiration of Alhaji Shaibu Abubakar Audu as people oriented, described him as a Youth at heart, said his desire has always been a one united Kogi State.
Alhaji Rod described Alhaji Shaibu Abubakar Audu as a generous philanthropist per excellent, said he has without any Political appointment, sank several boreholes across the State, empowered many young persons through the payment of school fees and other forms of empowerment.
He stressed that if elected as Governor in 2023, Alhaji Shaibu Abubakar Audu will make the provision of infrastructure development a priority, described him as a man loved across the State by the Youths and Women.
Rod made a passionate appeal to the administration of Gov Yahaya Bello and the APC in the State to look in the direction of Alhaji Shaibu Abubakar Audu, stressing that he is a passionate lover of the State and Government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello, insisting that he has contributed his own quota in rallying Support for the Administration and APC in the State.
Alh. Rod assurred that with Alhaji Shaibu Abubakar Audu, the APC will convincingly win the State in 2023, pointing out that he has with his good works and Politics engraved himself to the hearts of the people of the State.
Rod concluded by saying that Alhaji Shaibu Abubakar Audu is the best thing that would happen to the state in 2023 if elected, described him as having the capacity to move the state forward.
