2023: Gov. Yahaya Bello Has Capacity to Deliver, Make Nigeria Great – Engr. Abubakar Ohere


 

The Kogi State Commissioner for Works and Housing, Engr. Abubakar Ohere says the loud calls and clamour for Gov. Yahaya Bello to run as President in 2023 is based on his capacity to deliver and make the country great.

Speaking with Newsmen, Engr. Ohere whose passion about Gov. Yahaya Bello’s Presidency remains unparalleled, says Gov. Bello may not have come from a very rich background, neither is he too old, a Yoruba, Hausa nor an Ibo Man, qualities in the past that has helped shaped who becomes the nation’s President, says his ability to take the country out of the woods is reason he’s joining to asked Nigerians to support the Governor.

Engr. Ohere asked Nigerians to look beyond narrow minded sentiments in choosing the next President of the Country come 2023, described Gov. Bello as what the country needs to move forward.

He noted that ethnicity, religion and geographical location have largely informed who becomes the nation’s President, urged Nigerians to look at issues that will unite the country and allow for building of a strong and united Nigeria with Gov. Bello.

According to Engr. Ohere, ” Gov. Bello has what it takes to provide leadership, a criteria that should be the focus by Nigerians.

” Gov. Bello is one who is having age on his side. He also has the political will in taking decisions, qualities the nation leaders need now more than ever before.

What the nation needs now more desperately is a courageous leader in the mould of Gov. Bello who is not inclined to class, ethnic or religious inclination. His types who are truthful and patriotic in leadership are hard and rare to come by”.

Engr. Ohere explained that the clamour to have Gov. Bello seek to be the President of Nigeria come 2023 was a decision taken after taking a critical look at how he is able to manage scarce and available resources at the state level in meeting the yearnings and aspirations of the people.

The Commissioner for Works and Housing says the nation more than ever before needs the thinking cap of Gov. Bello as President in tackling headlong the nation’s insecurity, and infrastructure decay, pointed out that what is at stake for the nation to make progress should not be sacrificed on the alter of mundane and parochial sentiments.
