If what Nigeria seriously needs in 2023 is a leader that can unite the country and the people, then Gov. Yahaya Bello, remains the best option.
Otunba Babalola Fabunmi a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Kogi made the disclosure after meeting with the Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja in Lokoja, to drum support for the Governor’s ambition.
According to Otunba Babalola Fabunmi, the country would be better off in the next dispensation with Gov. Yahaya Bello as President, disclosing that the cry for secession and marginalization that has reared its ugly head in the country would be best handled by Gov. Bello’s inclusive style of Leadership.
Otunba Babalola Fabunmi, an APC Chieftain and former ANPP Board of Trustees Chairman Representing Kogi State, says his visit to the Kogi State Deputy Governor is part of his resolve as an elder to reach out to critical stakeholders in the country on the need to support Gov. Bello’s Presidency in 2023.
Otunba Fabunmi described Gov. Bello as the nation’s best bet in uniting the various segments of the society, argued that he has been able to achieve that in Kogi State that is a miniature Nigeria.
He pointed out that all efforts should be made to explore the positive qualities of Gov. Bello in the area of security and in uniting the country, described the growing calls for his Presidency as one in the right direction.
Otunba Fabunmi, was a former Kogi State Governorship Aspirant in 2012, last weekend he kicked started the advocacy visit to leaders of thought and opinion moulders to discuss with them Governor Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello’s Presidential Ambition.
Speaking with the Nigerianpost on the visit, Otunba Fabunmi the person’s he has met as Positively disposed to the Presidential ambition of Gov Bello, assured that all options considered, if uniting the country and creating a sense of belonging is what that is needed to lead the country, Gov. Bello has all it takes to offer the desired Leadership.
The APC Chieftain said he would continue the interaction with the elders towards ensuring that the ambition of Gov Yahaya Bello is achieved, disclosed that the project is one of no retreat, no surrender, since the Governor has the capacity to deliver good governance in the country.
He concluded by saying, Kogi State was a state totally divided State, where mutual distrust thrived, with loss of confidence on the Leadership before the coming of Gov. Bello, said that is a story for the past under Gov. Bello.
