2023 ELECTION : Edo PDP Will Come Out Of Crisis Stronger, Better . . Matthew Iduoriyekemwen

The Edo South PDP Senatorial candidate in the forthcoming general election, Hon Matthew Iduoriyekemwen has declared that the seeming crisis rock the party in the state will be resolved before the official flag off of the campaign and eventually become a thing of the past.

Hon Iduoriyekemwen, a former member and Majority Leader, Edo State House of Assembly, where he distinguished himself as a fine breed lawmaker, who stated this in Benin city at a media interface with journalists on related issues said “the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Edo state, is a big family of like minds. We have come a long way and we all belief and accept that the party is supreme and that each and every one of us know that the party has contributed to whatever we are today, as such we are all, directly or indirectly, not going to do anything that will disrupt the continued existence and relevance of the party which is our vehicle for delivering the highest goods to the greatest numbers of people in our society”.

According to the PDP Senatorial candidate who recently got his Certificte of Return from the leadership of the party, “with our strong and well-tested mechanism of resolving internal crisis, there is no doubting the fact that we will come out of this better, bigger and stronger, poised to winning the elections.”

“Whatever you are seeing here is part of what could best be described as the beauty of democracy”, stressing that steps are currently being taken by some party leaders and stakeholders to intervene and amicably resolve the dispute in our familiar “family manner” for which the party is known and in the overall interest of our state and people”

On his chances in the forthcoming senatorial election, the former commissioner representing Edo state on the board of the Niger-Delta Development Commission(NDDC), Hon Matthew Iduoriyekemwen said “with due respect to the persons of my brothers contesting on other platforms, I, Matthew Iduoriyekemwen, by the special grace of God, am more positioned, loved, acceptable and favourably disposed to winning the senatorial election”.

” My chances, as it is, are as bright as the sunlight as I remain the best senatorial material for Edo south district. I have what it takes to speak for the people in the Senate, having done creditably as a lawmaker at the state assembly. My previous experience will come in handy. Going to the Senate for me is an elevation and I will surely not disappoint the people for reposing conference in me”.

Meanwhile, Some party members and supporters who spoke under anomity said by the time the reconciliation process is activated and calm finally restored, all those doomsday critics waiting to profit from the crisis will be left high and dry.

They said the PDP is at home in Edo State and will continue to work in the best interest of the people, thereby enjoining the electorates to invest their votes in the MATTHEW IDUORIYEKEMWEN FOR SENATE project.
