2023: Captain Timi Iyela meets Okene PDP delegates, solicits for support

Leading aspirant for the PDP 2023 ticket for the Okene/Ogori Magongo Federal Constituency election, Captain Timi Iyela, on Tuesday met with Okene PDP delegates to solicit for their support ahead of the May 12, 2022 PDP House of Representatives primary election.

“We are here to remind you about our project. We have come to solicit for your support. Without your support we can’t win the ticket.

“We all know that we have not reached where we should be yet as a federal constituency.

“I have thrown my hat into the ring. I want to create jobs for our people. I want to bring us business support. I will be a representative of the people.

“Enough is enough in terms of money politics. We must bring an end to money politics. We need good governance in our Federal Constituency. I promise not to fail you if you vote for me,” Captain TImi Iyela told the Okene PDP delegates.

Captain Timi Iyela was accompanied to the meeting by supporters and PDP leaders from Ogori Magongo Local Government.

The Okene PDP Chairman, Hon. Adabara amidst other stakeholders in Okene PDP, assured Captain Timi Iyela of a level playing field at the primaries. The Okene PDP excos and delegates said they will do their homework and study aspirants and eventually vote for who they know can win the general election for the party. They urged Captain Timi Iyela not to rest on his oars if he must emerge victorious at the primaries.

Captain Timi Iyela promised to bring vocational opportunities and business opportunities as well as employment opportunities from the Federal Government, to the Federal Constituency if he is elected to represent the Federal Constituency in 2023.
