The C21F has resolved to embrace statewide consultation and promotion of credible candidates that would genuinely interested in providing good governance for the vast majority masses at the grassroots.
The forum arising from its 8th general meeting stated its resolution to stand up as the voice of the masses in the drive for good governance and be accountable to the electorate by setting up standards of measuring good governance from elected officials. The forum decries the poor performance of some elected officials and stated that the trends can not continue saying it is about time to ensure that vibrant candidates with developing mindsets are supported to enjoy the people’s mandates.
While speaking at the 8th general meeting, the state Cordinator of the forum comrade Benjamin Jerry urge the people of the state to stand up against all forms of bad leadership in respective of religion, tribe or political affiliation saying that people of all ages should get their hands on their voters cards which is their mean instrument of getting good leaders and representatives from the polls.
He equally sue for peace, and Unity across every communities in the state nothing that it is when there is peaceful coexistence and Unity that development can be made available.
He noted that group is set to commence contact and mobilization at every wards and polling unit to ensure that the best candidate for the people gets elected through a peaceful and transparent electoral process.
