2023: APC Excos in Kogi LGA Endorses Hon. Karimi, Promises Support Ahead of Kogi West Senate Contest


 

 

 

“Mr. Project and Welfarism” was the song that filled the air as Hon. Sunday Karimi stormed Kogi Local Government Area of Kogi State to discuss his intention to represent the people of Kogi West at the Red Chamber come 2023.

The Executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Eleven Wards of Kogi Local Government Area of Kogi State, endorsed and pledged their unalloyed support to the aspirantion of Hon. Sunday Steve Karimi to represent Kogi West Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Abuja.

The Executives who made the pledge while receiving the aspirant at the APC Party Secretariat in the Area, took turns to speak about the personality of Hon. Karimi.

Speaking, Kogi LGA APC Chairman, Hon. Abubakar Onah, appreciated Hon. Karimi for his hospitality, simplicity and for being accessible by all and sundry.

Hon. Onah also noted that Hon. Karimi has been organized in his dealings, calling on him to sustain his good gesture towards others.

He however tendered some request, ranging from bus for the Party Executives, legislative aides from this Area, public address system among others to enable them perform their functions effectively.

On her part, the Woman Leader of the Area – Hajara Abu, who spoke through the Assistant Women Leader – Hon. Mariam, promised that women in the Area will continue to support the quest of Hon. Karimi ahead of the election.

The Youth Leader of Kogi Local Government Area – Comr. Musa O. Muhammed, noted that youths in the Area will not relent at working for the success of Hon. Karimi.

Comr. Muhammed called on the aspirant to make youth employment and empowerment a priority when he emerges, stressing that the people of the Area has in the past supported leaders who dumbs them after election victory.

Speaking on behalf of the Secretaries, Hon. Haruna Muhammed Idris, congratulated Hon. Karimi, stressing that the eleven Ward Secretaries will continue to work for his success.

Hon. Idris cautioned Hon. Karimi against “Use And Dumb” attitude of past leaders, charging him to sustain his good character.

The aspirant, Hon. Sunday Steve Karimi, said is committed to providing quality Representation to the people if elected for the position.

Hon. Karimi said togetherness and commitment to a course will enable them achieve greater things, pointing out that he will continue to carry those at the grassroots along in the discharge of his duties.

“Let us work together, I will carry everyone along in the scheme of things

“I have always been very supportive of every activities of our great Party in Kogi Local Government Area and I will continue to do that through various means

The Aspirant commended Governor Bello for keeping to his promises, describing him as a man who is committed to securing the lives of Nigerians when given the opportunity in 2023.

“What Governor Yahaya Bello promised me in 2019, is what he is doing today, Governor Bello is a man of his word”

Engineer Segun, Mr. Dare, among others were in the entourage of the Aspirant to the Area as Hon. Karimi in his usual manner, gave bags of rice and cash to the Party Excos.
