The Welfare Officer Diaspora of the Fugar Sons and Daughters,Lady Francisca Egwakhide has described the 2022Fugar Cultural Festival as a platform that has brought about reunion of the people of Fugar and also an experience that was exhilaratingly Wonderful.
Lady Francisca who based in France, disclosed this to our Correspondent at the grand finale of the 2022 Fugar Cultural Festival,held at the John Akhaghemhe Akhigbe Center, Estako Central local government area of Edo State, Wednesday December 27,2022.
Speaking further, Francisca praised the Fugar Progressive Union (FPU), for the Noble ideas which has brought the people of the Community together and has also afforded them the opportunity to be reunited after along period of parting, saying that, the Fugar Cultural Festival has also provided the avenue for better understanding of their Culture and history, she stressed.
She urged the Fugar Progressive Union (FPU), to remain focused and ensure that the Cultural Festival is Sustained,as it has become the only event that was capable of bringing Fugar Sons and Daughters together, she added.
The Welfare Officer Diaspora, appealed to the people of Fugar both at home and in the Diaspora to maintain harmonious coexistence amongst themselves and to always be there Brother’s keeper, warning against politically motivated violence as they approach the 2023 general elections.
