The Kogi State Commissioner for Works and Housing, Engr. Abubakar Ohere has urged all Kogites to have positive attitudes going into the New Year, saying every available indices indicate that Kogi State and Nigeria is on the brink of greatness.
In a statement, Engr. Abubakar Ohere said the prospects of a better nation will be realised if the people cooperate and work together for the betterment of the state and nation.
“2022 would be a year of great significance for Kogites and Nigerians, as such working together with a united purpose will guarantee success for our nation. This he stated is imperative not just for the well-being of people of the State, but for the benefit of the future generation of Nigerians.”
He expressed confidence in the efforts put in place by the administration of Gov. Yahaya Bello to continue to impact positively on the lives of the people of the q State.
“We’re expecting increased level of construction work across the State in the coming year. We hope to maintain our efforts as a huge construction site in the country,” he said.
The Outgone year witnessed massive efforts in the development of all our health Institutions, ongoing work on our GYB Model Science Secondary Schools. I’m proud to state that the massive work on the Ganaja Flyover Bridge, Specialist Hospital, Lokoja Civic Centre would soon be handed over.
Our efforts in the construction of roads across the State, provision of streets lighting, expansion of the drains in the State Capital would be completed soon with several other new project initiated for the people.
As we enter into 2022. We in the Kogi State Ministry of Works and Housing, reiterate our Commitment to delivering on the mandate giving to us by Gov. Yahaya Bello in delivering GYB standard projects.
While we must commend His Excellency, Gov Bello on his achievements in the securing of our State, unifying the State, it is our prayers that our calls for him to aspire to be the President of Nigeria in 2023 would be realised.
Engr. Ohere congràtulated Gov. Bello, Cabinet Members, Management and Staff of the Kogi State Ministry of Works and Housing, the good people of the State on the occasion of entering 2022, expressed optimism that the year would be prosperous and deliver several other projects to the people of the State.
