This Year’s Ogidi Day comes up on Saturday, June 19th, 2021.
Announcing the Festival, His Royal Highness, Oba Rabiu Oladimeji Sule Ologidi of Ogidi, says the festival would hold at the Community Hall Grounds, Ajegbe, Ogidi, Ijumu, Kogi State at 10:00am.
The 2021 Ogidi Day is under the Chairmanship of Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning.
Gov. Yahaya Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State is the Chief Host, while the Distinguished Honoured Guest is Brig.Gen. Mohammed Buba Marwa, Chairman/CEO NDLEA.
This year’s festival is under the Chairperson of Iyalode Tolani Salawu, CEO, Virtuous Women Pillars Club.
The Senator Representing Kogi West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Sen. Smart Adeyemi, Chairman, Senate Committee on Aviation, is the Special Guest of Honour.
The Member Representing Kabba Bunu Ijumu Federal Constituency, Hon. T.J. Yusuf and the Member Representing Ijumu State Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Kilani Olumo are the Guest of Honour.
The Royal Father of the Day for the festival is HRM. Oba Williams Ayeni, Olujumu of Ijumu Kingdom while Hon.(Dr.) Taufiq Isa, Council Chairman and ALGON Chairman Kogi State would serve as the Chief Host.
