The member representing the good people of kabbabunu/ Ijumu Federal Constituency Rt Hon Teejay Yusuf, has admonished Nigerians particularly the people of kogi west senatorial district to embrace peace and be their brother keepers and pray for the state and the country also kogi west senatorial district at large to succeed.
The lawmaker gave this advice while congratulating Muslims faithful, especially, those residing in kogi west senatorial as they mark Eidil-Maulud.
He stated that only trough peace and stability that kogi west can achieve sustainable development in all spheres. He said that while people were celebrating, they should remember that, the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), is not only time for celebration, but also for sober reflection in our lives.
He enjoined them to pray for his administration to succeed and overcome the current economic challenges facing our country, adding that the current economic challenges will not last forever.
He called for prayers for the success of our leaders for God to continue guiding, protect and give them the wisdom to steer the affairs of the national, state and kogi west senatorial district and actualize the change mantra of this administration.
Rt Hon Teejay said, his administration is aimed at repositioning economy and empowering not kabbabunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency alone but kogi west senatorial district to depend less on government.
The lawmaker lauded religious leaders in the area for bringing peace through their teaching and good activities for the development of kogi west senatorial district.
On security, Teejay said that there was no better time than this spiritual occasion to offer prayers for the nation, state and kogi west senatorial district in particular, even as he commended the security agencies efforts for in defeating kidnappers, adding that we are resolute about the security of lives and property which remains a priority of his administration.
