The Office of the Executive Chairman, Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, wishes to inform the general public that, following credible intelligence briefings and comprehensive security reports received from relevant security agencies, the Executive Chairman has directed the temporary closure of all churches in rural communities and villages across the Local Government Area.

This directive has become necessary in view of recent developments and sensitive security intelligence gathered by the government authority, as part of proactive efforts to prevent security threats and protect lives and property, particularly within rural areas.

Accordingly, all churches affected by this directive are to comply strictly, and all security agencies operating within Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, alongside traditional rulers of all rural communities and villages, are hereby directed to ensure full enforcement and compliance.

The Executive Chairman makes it unequivocally clear that any violation of this directive will attract severe and strict consequences. In the event of any breach, both the leadership of the defaulting church and the king or traditional head of the concerned community shall be held jointly and severally responsible, and shall face appropriate legal actions and sanctions as provided by law.

No excuse, compromise, or negligence will be tolerated.

This temporary measure is a strategic step aimed at further strengthening the security architecture of the Local Government Area, sustaining peace, and ensuring the safety of lives and property across all communities.

The Executive Chairman also assures residents, particularly the rural community, that the government remains firmly committed to protecting lives, with security continuing to serve as the driving force for community stability and safety.

Members of the public are urged to remain calm, vigilant, and cooperative as security agencies intensify efforts to maintain peace and order across the Local Government Area.

Total and absolute compliance with this directive is mandatory.
