… felicitates with Gov. Bello.
On behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students, the Provost, College of Nursing Obangede, Mrs Hannah Abraham, has felicitated with Christians in Kogi State particularly, on the occasion of the 2021 Christmas celebration, noting that the season signifies hope for mankind.
Similarly, the Provost felicitated with Gov. Yahaya Bello on the occasion of Christmas, commended the peace and tranquility the State is enjoying.
She called on Christians to remain optimistic, believing that the trying phase the nation is passing through would soon be a thing of the past, called for the people to show love and be their brothers keeper in this season.
The Provost in a statement she issued to Newsmen, urged christians to emulate God’s love to mankind and replicate same to their neigbours during the season in love and by sharing.
She also noted that although, the season was a good time to spend time with family, friends and loved ones sharing happiness, said it should also be used for sober reflections and should be a time of prayers for peace, unity and togetherness of the country.
She further expressed joy with the citizens of the state for being able to witness yet another Christmas period, noting that despite several hurdles faced individually and collectively, God Almighty has ceaselessly shown His boundless mercy and love to mankind.
The Provost thanked Gov. Bello for creating the desired peace in the State, expressed satisfaction with his Support to the college, said the institution has never had it so good like it is currently enjoying.
While she congràtulated Christians, Gov. Bello, the stakeholders of the College for witnessing yet another Christmas in peace and tranquility, prayed God to grant the people more opportunities to celebrate more Christmas celebration on earth, wished them a merry Christmas and a prosperous New year, assurring that 2022 would be a great year.
