The Member Representing Bida/Gbako/Katcha Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and Gorozon Nupe, Hon. Saidu Musa Abdul, while playing host to the Executive Chairman of Bida Local Government, Hon. Suleiman Sheshi(Maina Nupe) in his office at National Assembly yesterday, has reiterated his commitment to the infrastructural transformation of the Local Government Areas under his watch.
Hon. Saidu Musa who thanked Maina Nupe for the august visit also gave an account of his major projects and programmes across the three Local Government Areas that made up the Federal Constituency since assumption office.
“Presently, construction of two cottage hospitals is ongoing in Katcha Local Government; construction of culvert and erosion control at Kusotachin Village along Gusadin Road is ongoing; all is set to connect Mamagi, Ndarubu and neighboring communities in Gbako Local Government to the national grid for electricity supply.
A massive youth and women empowerment programme across the Federal Constituency will take place this month among many others, Hon. Saidu revealed.
The Chairman Bida Local Government and Maina Nupe, Hon. Sheshi while applauding the giant strides recorded by Hon. Saidu Musa Abdul, called for more support and collaboration among stakeholders to achieve sustainable economic growth and infrastructural development in Bida Local Government and Niger State at large.
He expressed the need for legislative support to guarantee economic stability for the government at grassroots via a robust and expanded revenue base as the implementation of trial financial autonomy commenced across the state.
