Following the emergence of Kogi born Oladele John Nihi as the Pan-African Youth Union, (PYU) Vice President West Africa in the just concluded election held at Niamey, Niger Republic, the chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Kogi State Chapter His Youthfulnes Usman Ogohi has congratulated Nihi on his victory.
Speaking to newsmen at his office in Lokoja, Amb. Ogohi described the victory has another landmark achievement in consolidation of Governor Yahaya Bello efforts to place Kogi Youth at the hallmark of decision making and leadership representation.
According to him, Nihi who has served in various youth leadership capacity within and outside the state has shown credibility, capacity, transparency, accountability and commitment towards youths development at various sector.
He added that his victory at the polls didn’t come as a surprise, as his achievements speaks volume and command positive attention.
Oladele John Nihi he added, defeated his closest rival from Senegal to clinch the position of Number one Youth in the West Africa Sub region, which with other Continental executive members are expected to pilot the affairs of Youths in Africa for the next three years.
While aligning the state Council supports with that of the National in providing necessary support to ensure a smooth and effective implementation of Pan-African Youth Union mandate for the betterment of Nigerian Youths and Africa at large, he charged all Kogi youths to remain positive and keep striving to be the best.
