The Provost College of Education Technical Kabba, Mrs. Victoria Olusola Jagboro, has congratulated Professors Olayemi Akinwumi on his well deserved appointment as the Vice Chancellors of Federal University Lokoja by the Governing Council of the university.
The Provost in a statement said the appointments is a welcome development, praised his monumental contributions to the various Institutions he has served as committed and outstanding educationists and researchers over the years.
The Provost commended the Governing Council for considering Professor Akinwumi who is an outstanding scholar, eminently qualified for the position.
She described the new Vice Chancellor as excellent and pragmatic personality that have consistently distinguished himself right from his school days in the secondary and university up to their PhD level, commended his professionalism as an outstanding researchers and scholars.
The Provost prayed God to in His infinite mercy grant the new Vice Chancellor the wisdom, knowledge, understanding and good health to pilot the affairs of his new responsibility, said the appointment is coming at a better time.
