The PDP Chairmanship aspiration of the former governor of Kogi state, His Excellency Alhaji Ibrahim Idris received a boost at a Jumaat Mosque in Ganaja, Ajaokuta LGA of Kogi state today been 8 the October, 2021.
There was a remarkable prayer session organized in honour of Alhaji Ibrahim Idris immediately after the termination of the Jumaat service which coincided with RABIUL AWWAL as the birth date and month of our noble Prophet Muhammad (SAW). The significance of this prayer session were immeasurable given the countless numbers of noble scholars invited from within and outside the state. There were recitations and prayers from individuals and scholars present.
The event was attended by many memorizers (Hafizis) drawn from within and outside the state. The spiritual participants of the session were led by a foremost Scholar, Sheikh Tairu Ndah BIDA. The Islamic Scholar while addressing the session, happily and joyously recounted and eulogized the past achievements of Alhaji Ibrahim Idris during his nine year concurrently peaceful tenure. He stated further that, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, no doubt would use his wealth of experience as a resourceful businessman and a respectable seasoned administrator to change the political narratives of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Nigeria, if given the mandate as the National Chairman of the PDP.
The national Chairman of MODESU, Hon. Shittu Idris Haruna overwhelmingly spoke onbehalf of the members present during the prayer session. Hon. Shittu thanked all the participants especially those invited from outside the state over the love and commitment demonstrated during the period. The bottom-line for this prayer session according to the National Chairman of MODESU is mainly to seek for God’s protection and interventions before the commencement of the MODESU’ intending national stakeholders familiarisation tour in honour of the aspiration and success of Alhaji Ibrahim Idris as the National Chairman of the PDP.
