Gov. Yahaya Bello has been commended for his Commitment to the welfare of Traditional Rulers in the State.
The Chairman, Kogi State Chapter of National Council of Muslim Youth Organization( NACOMYO) Alhaji Suleiman Dansoho, gave the commendation when he led the executives of the Council to the Onu Itobe, Alhaji Salihu Adaji on his appointment as Onu Itobe.
Alhaji Suleiman who described the New Onu Itobe, Alhaji Salihu Adaji as a man of integrity and mobilizer of the work of Islam, expressed appreciation to the state Governor for finding him worthy for the appointment.
The Chairman advised the New Onu Itobe to represent the good people of the area through honesty, transparency and with the fear of Allah.
Alhaji Dansoho noted that as a pioneer State Chairman of NACOMYO the Onu Itobe was capable and called adding with that experience alone, he is capable and called on the people of Itobe Community to support him towards the progress of the area.
The Onu Itobe, Alhaji Salihu Adaji thanked Governor Yahaya Bello for finding him worthy for the appointment and promised to bring his worth of experience to bear on the growth of the area and commended the leadership of NACOMYO for their visit.
The Association also felicitated with the Ejeh of Dekina, Alhaji Usman Obaje on his appointment as Acting Chairman Kogi East traditional Council of Chiefs and Ejeh of Ofu, Alhaji Akwu Obaje on his Induction as Member Kogi State Tradional Council of Chiefs.
