The remains of Deaconess Cecilia Ikechi Nwogu, mother of a veteran journalist, Mr Success Uzodinma Nwogu, will be interred on July 7, 2022 (7/7/22). She will be buried at her surviving husband’s compound at Ndulee, Umuogu, Amuzu-Nwenkwo Autonomous Community in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria.
She died on April 4, 2022 (4/4/22) at Holy Rosary Hospital, Emekuku, Owerri Imo State.
During her lifetime, she was an accomplished entrepreneur, a renowned agriculturist, a philanthropist, a devout Christian, and an outstanding Christian women leader even at the district level of the Assemblies of God Church.
The deceased was survived by her husband, Elder Samuel Nwakwuoke Nwogu; her eight children, 20 grandchildren, sister, inlaws and many other relatives.
Her other children are: Rev Dr. Victor Chidiebere Nwogu; Mr. Mishael Udochukwu Nwogu; Mr. Charles Prince Chinwendu Nwogu; Pastor Chinedu Sopuruchi Nwogu; Mrs. Victoria Chidinma Ewa; Mrs. Christiana Oluchi
Nwaozuzu and Miss Grace Uchechi Nwogu.
