More Schools in Kwara Central Benefit From Oloriegbe’s Interventions


 

In continuation of his interventions in the education sector, the Senator representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly, Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe has through the office of the Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Developmental Goals (SDGs) facilitated the construction of a block of 3 classrooms with furniture items to Police Secondary School, Ballah, Asa Local Government and Ald-Yaudeen LGEA School, Alore, Ilorin West Local Government Area.

 

A delegation from the Senator’s constituency office, led by Alhaji Waheed Piri visited the schools during an inspection tour of some of the projects facilitated by the lawmaker.

 

 

 

The classrooms which had been equipped with furniture items to improve the condition of learning are already in use in fulfilment of the purpose for which they were built.

Speaking during the visit, the Media Aide to the Senator, Bolaji Aladie, emphasized the essentiality of a conducive learning environment, asserting that students learn best in a positive atmosphere where they feel safe and comfortable.

“A positive classroom environment is an essential factor in the quest to improve learning outcomes as it enables the students to experience comfortability and enhance quick assimilations of what they are being taught.

“It’s essential to place the students in an ideal learning classroom where they would feel confident and motivated to exude brilliant performance and achieve learning objectives.”

Speaking further, Aladie reiterated his principal’s commitment to improving the standard of education in complement to the efforts of the State government, urging the managements of the schools to make judicious use of the structures.

In their respective remarks, the heads of the two schools appreciated the delegation for the visit and lauded the Senator’s unceasing interventions in the education sector, describing him as a responsive representative committed to impacting the lives of constituents.

Recall that, a block of two classrooms facilitated by the lawmaker to Okekere Junior Secondary School, Abata-Sunkere, was also handed over recently to the community.
